If you are in the Kota Tua area, I recommend you to visit Semasa Cafe and Shop! Semasa Cafe was located at the third floor of the old building which was mostly covered in white walls and red bricks. I was not surprise at all, since it's been standing there for over one hundred years, being the house to an insurance company in the Dutch-Colonial era called OLVEH . One word for Semasa Cafe is simplicity. This cafe is not too big, perhaps only quarter-size of the whole third floor. The bar was on the left side, where there were some small round benches that you can sit in front of the bar. In the middle of the cafe, there was a special table featuring products sold by Semasa Cafe. On the right side, you will find two small round tables with benches that are the same size and shape as the table.
